10% – The total penetration of electric vehicles that would flip SoCal Edison’s grid to a nighttime peak according to a survey by Jackson Associates. A particularly interesting development as solar gains generation share.

-$10 – The price of wholesale power in the Plains on Friday thanks to strong winds from Texas to Minnesota. Negative rates are becoming more common as wind and solar continue to outpace other forms of generation in the region.
